The Beta Delta Chapter is located at the University of South Carolina as the largest Delta Zeta chapter nationally.

Delta Zeta was first established in 1902 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Our founders include Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton, and Anne Simmons. The Beta Delta Chapter of Delta Zeta was established at the University of South Carolina on September 22, 1928.

As Delta Zetas, we have six shared values. These include friendship, community, generosity, curiosity, empowerment, and belonging. These values are the basis of our sisterhood.

Delta Zeta's colors are rose and green. Some of our symbols include the pink killarney rose, the diamond, the turtle, and the Roman lamp.
